The Influence of Temperature Conditions on the Bioproductivity of Waters and Tuna Fishing in the South China Sea
 </dc:title>

<dc:description><p>The main abiotic factor influencing the formation and variability of the bioproductivity characteristics of the waters of the South China Sea (SCS), as well as the distribution and migration of tuna, is the water temperature. The impact of other abiotic factors is less significant. The Scientific Research Institute of Marine Fisheries of Vietnam has carried out many years of work to assess the influence of various characteristics of water temperature on changes in bioproductivity parameters, but the patterns of their interannual variability have not been identified. Also, the problem of constructing fish catch models depending on the determining factors remained completely unexplored, and even more so, the development of a forecasting method, which is extremely important when planning a fishery. In this paper, for the first time, an attempt is made to identify the role of various characteristics of water temperature on the parameters of bioproductivity of waters of the South China Sea. A statistical model of tuna catch has been created depending on economic and oceanological factors.</p></dc:description>
