Research Interest: Mycotoxins for gastro-intestinal tract (GIT) health and some functional nutrients or Chinese herbal medicine triggered protective mechanism for intestinal cells using pig as a research model. Considering that the GIT and the immune system of pigs are not vastly different from those of humans, the pig can be regarded as a good model that can be applied to humans.
