Biography: Medicine  in 1984 at Tunis medical school. He was assistant professor  in preventive medicine in 1997 at  Tunis II University , after he was associate professor during the period of 2003 to  Currently. He has a master of public health from the ¨université libre de bruxelle” in Belgium during 1994/1995 and  a Diploma in “tabacologie” from Paris XI XII during 1999-2000, he is working as a head of department of research and heath education  in National Institute of Public Health and associate professor at Tunis II University, he is working also be weekly  at  hospital as smoking cessation expert, he has authored about  40 research articles/books and  honoured as the «Eminent Scientist of the Year 2003  by the International Research Promotion Council (IRPC)

Research Interest: Tobacco epidemiology and control, tobacco cessation, public health
