Research Interest: Academic Higher Surgical Training Programme in Trauma and Orthopaedics at UCL and the RNOH, Stanmore and am committed to a career in Academic Orthopaedic Surgery. Before embarking on higher surgical training I spent a period of training in research methods and techniques of relevance to Orthopaedics, in particular Tissue Engineering and Stem Cell Biology. This research time will enable me to develop my own interests in research and it will provide excellent grounding for a future career in Academic Orthopaedic Sciences. It will also provide me with a scientific basis for clinical practice and improve my ability to translate new findings from research into improved everyday clinical care for patients.
