Graduated from Mansoura University Medical School Cum De Laude, and finished general surgery residency at the same institute, pursued five years HBP surgery and Liver transplant fellowship, Kyoto University Hospital, Kyoto, Japan, where concurrently he obtained his Ph.D. Degree in translational and clinical research from, the graduate school of medicine, Kyoto University, Japan. He also was appointed as an attending surgeon and lecturer of general surgery, Mansoura university hospital,Egypt.

Research Interest: Research area: impact of pretransplant sarcopenia and sarcopenic obesity on the outcomes in liver transplant recipients. The nutritional therapy and nutritional parameters changes in liver transplantation. Epidemiological aspects and quality of life after resection of pancreatic cancer.
